As a Game Development Intern at Wanted 5 Games you’ll work on amazing projects to get valuable experience.
We have every speciality in-house and we love to produce full games from scratch. Starting with a great design, focusing on a smooth user experience. Our teams are used to working together daily and are highly optimised, everyone knows what to do and what to expect from others, allowing us to focus 100% on creating awesome games.
Responsibilities:
- Be a part of the game development team, working together with the art, design and production team
- Developing new features for amazing game titles (see our past projects here)
- Contribute to existing games currently being played by millions of people
- We expect you to be in our office at least 4 days a week, we are next to the Haarlem train station
Qualifications:
- You have a passion for making games and writing code
- You have solid experience in at least one programming language and game engine (Unity, Unreal, …)
- You have experience working in (small) project teams
- Experience with version control systems (GIT)
- You are currently enrolled at an educational institution (preferably HBO)
- You fluently read, write and speak English. Dutch is convenient
Bonus:
- Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience with HTML5 game engines (Cocos Creator, PixiJS, PhaserJS, …)
- Experience with developing multiplayer games
